Usage rates
The more you build, the less each call costs.
Plan credit is spent first, at your plan’s rates. Once it runs out, usage is billed at the same rates on the 1st.

How billing works
One bill a month, charged to your card.

Choose a plan
Pick a plan in your dashboard and add a card on Stripe’s secure checkout. Your first month runs from that day to the 1st and is charged pro rata.

Use the API
Every request is metered. Your dashboard shows usage, credit left and the bill so far, updated as you go.

Pay on the 1st
Stripe charges the new month’s fee and the previous month’s usage after credit, then emails a receipt.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Every new account gets a one-time $2 credit, enough for about 33,000 characters of speech or two hours of transcription. It works in the Playground and with your API keys, no card needed. Whatever is left moves into your first plan month.
Why choose Starter or Growth?
Lower rates on every service (17% off on Starter, 33% on Growth), higher request limits and priority support. Growth also gets new models and voices before everyone else. Your whole monthly fee is usage credit spent at those lower rates, so $99 on Starter buys what $118.80 would on Pay as you go.
What does “usage credit” mean?
On Starter and Growth the whole monthly fee is spent on usage first, at your plan’s rates. A Starter team using $60 of speech pays nothing more that month; one using $150 pays $51 on top, still at Starter rates. Unused credit doesn’t roll over.
What are request limits?
How many calls to speech, transcription and translation your organisation can make each minute, across all your keys: 60 on Pay as you go, 300 on Starter, 1,000 on Growth and more on Enterprise. Over the limit, the API answers 429 with a Retry-After header.
What is early access?
Growth and Enterprise teams get new models and voices before general release, starting with our next generation of native voices across African languages.
Can I change plans?
Yes, from Billing in your dashboard. Upgrades start straight away, with the fee prorated and the lower rates applied from your next request. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the month.
How do I pay?
By card, through Stripe, in US dollars. PlotWeaver never sees your card number. Receipts are emailed and listed in your dashboard.
What happens if a payment fails?
Stripe retries your card and your keys keep working for 7 days. If it still hasn’t gone through, requests pause until you update your card.
How does Enterprise work?
We agree a monthly fee and rates for your volume, starting from Growth rates and going lower. The whole fee is usage credit, and you pay by card through Stripe like every other plan.
